Palazzo comenzolo fenaroli

Historical beauties
in the middle of Franciacorta

Palazzo Comenzolo Fenaroli has been restored to its former glory by the estate agency “Iniziative Immobiliari Bresciane S.r.l.” according to the design of the architect Giovanni Ceni. This architectural complex has a central courtyard and overlooks the main square of the historic centre of Erbusco, an historic town in Franciacorta perched on the hills of the morainic amphitheatre and well connected with the motorway Milan-Venice. This palace is located in a place full of history, where it is also possible to find some of the most prestigious residences of the Brescian aristocracy.

During the Renaissance the noble Comenzolo Fenaroli decided to embellish the building with barrel and umbrella vaults and elegant wooden ceilings depicting crests, ladies and knights. The façade was enriched with decorative bands that still adorn the windows.

In the 1800s the building had a new period of splendour thanks to Rodolfo Vantini, a famous neoclassical architect of Brescia. He worked on the construction of a magnificent portico supported by pillars in Sarnico stone with Tuscan capitals and ashlar shafts. Also the wrought-iron gates, decorating the main entrance, were built according to his design.

Despite a scrupulous work of restoration, the palace has maintained its unique charm which has been combined with the modern comfort, in order to meet present-day needs. For this reason Palazzo Comenzolo Fenaroli is the perfect place for those who wants to be in contact with the past, without sacrificing the conveniences of modern life.
